Give the title to someone else. NO....The loan company won't allow it. Also.... it sounds as if you are trying to give it to someone else to get a better insurance rate.NO ! You cannot do that that is called insurance fraud. Also.....A car must be insured and rated for the place it is garaged. How could i change the title name of a car in someones name if the loan is in someones else in another state?
If I understand your question correctly, you have purchased a car with a loan on it in one state and you want to give it to someone in North Carolina to drive.

I'm not an insurance person, but you need to talk to one about this. It may actually be easy to do. I would make calls to a couple of Auto Insurers to find out what you must do to make this work. How could i change the title name of a car in someones name if the loan is in someones else in another state?
You can't do this until the loan is paid off. You are responsible for the vehicle until then. How could i change the title name of a car in someones name if the loan is in someones else in another state?
You can't give a title to someone for a car you don't own. The bank owns the car and holds the title until it is paid off. Unless the other person is willing to assume the payments and the bank is willing to do this.
