Take the title and your proof of name change to the DMV. You will need proof of the name change, a marriage license will work, or your divorce decree if it says you are taking on another name. Is the vehicle less than ten yrs old? If so, your husband will need to sign the odometer disclosure, either on the title or on a disclosure form.
