Well, you could fudge on the amount the car was sold for. That will kick the taxes down, but you can;t say it was sold for $1.00. The Clerk's office isn't that dumb.Changing title in Texas?
New law makes it hard to fudge if not impossible as State determine value to tax, not buyer or seller. Sorry.
