My dad bought an old car before he passed away. I've always been told that he had his name and my name on the title. I recently got the VIN and have found out that the car is no longer in my dads or my name. Instead it was put into my aunts name when I was around 7 years old, which was quite a few years after my dad passed away.
If his name %26amp; my name was on the title, how could my aunt change the title to her name? I know that my mother (guardian) did not give her permission to take the car, since she always told me it was my decision as to what happened to the car %26amp; she's helping me try to find out how to get the car now.
If my dads name was only on the title, shouldn't I still have gotten the car with me being his only child? As far as I know there was no executor of estate because he had nothing of value.
