ok so i got a truck a lil bit a go from craigslist got the title and a bill a sale so all was good but the truck had a bad engine so spent the last 6months saven up for a new 350 but now thats its all good an runing find out my mom thru away the title and bill of sale befor i could change it in to my name

you need to go to dmv to apply for a lost title.
and you will need signatures of the old owner on the form.
you should have done that long ago when you have the documents in your hand,
