Lexus title change i need help?

I live in GA but im moving to CO next week my mom is giving me her car, but i want to figure out the best way to make the title change without too much money involved. and im wondering if this needs to be done before i leave or when im in CO.



would it be better to say i bought the car for like a 1000 and pay the taxes off that or something similar to that or how should i go about taking care of this



the car is a 2003 lexus gs300



so if at all we want to stay away from paying the taxes off the blue book price.Lexus title change i need help?

I would get a GA title first, have her sign it over to you as just a family transfer....in CA that type of transfer doesn't cost except for the actual transfer fee.
