My dad took me car hunting.. and when we finally found a good car, he had my nana take out a loan and wrote my dad the check so he could pay for the car. Since than, im on my parents car insurance plan. Im 18 and have been since september. I pay every month for the car and for the insurance. My boyfriend lives 3 hours away.. but im not allowed to drive there because my dad will most likely call the cops saying his car was stolen by his daughter.. and yeah.. huge mess. I need help. Legally that is not your car. It is your father's car. I realize you are making payments but it is titled in his name so it is his car. He probably does this to make sure you pay him back for the car. The car insurance is cheaper if it is in his name and on his insurance policy too so that saves you money.
