New Title of ownership ? how can i get?

I was part-owner with my ex-girlfriend..of a chev..

both names on original Nevada - ownership title..and both names on original Nevad -registration and insurance.

I drove the car exclusively from 2000-thru today ..she drive another she owns..

I broke up -dumped her in September' and moved to Texas..

she discovers im with a new girlfriend here..

So, she goes to Nevada DMV and convinces them to change Title %26amp; Registration - without me and without the title - showing her last payment stub and cancled check - she told them %26quot; my ex boyfriend has the car and i want his name removed.

I am unable to register the car here in texas..and i dont want to drive back to nevada.... the insurance still covers me' and has me listed as a authorized driver..currently.

so im considering leaving the car roadside between texas %26amp; nevada ..have AAA pick it up and leave her the worries of what to do next.

unless theres a way for me to take ownership of this vehicle

legally, helpNew Title of ownership ? how can i get?
If the names were on the title as %26quot;or%26quot; and not %26quot;and%26quot;, John OR Mary Doe, she is legal with what she did. Of course she is now responsible for everything and anything that happens with the car. If it should happen to be impounded and towed, guess who gets the bill?New Title of ownership ? how can i get?
It depends on how the title was issued, if you are still an owner. If the title said, gf name %26quot;and%26quot; you, she would be able to have your name removed from the title. If the title read, gf name, your name, then no, she couldn't legally remove your name from the title, and you could request the State of Nevada DMV, to provide the documents used to transfer the title into her name only. At that point, you would need to go to court, because the licensing agent cannot be held liable for an error that was made, it would be noted on the record of a pending civil matter. I'm guessing your girlfriend said that you two broke up, and that she wants to file a Seller's Report of Sale. That would stop you from registering the car in Texas. You need to contact Nevada, and ask exactly what that record shows. If she reports the car as stolen, well then, you will have a whold heap of crap to settle. Find out for sure what the Nevada DMV has on record, and decide what to do from there.
