I did a halfway not-sucky paint job on my truck. It took about $100 for materials and another $100 for the sprayer. And of course, I still have the sprayer and some materials left over. If you're willing to do an awful lot of picky detail-oriented work, you can do a decent job in your driveway. If you farm it out, well, you get what you pay for. It depends where you go. If you got a huge SUV or Truck, then look for an expensive job, but if its a compact car, look for a more cheaper job. But anywhere you go, its going to be well over $1,000. I think

yea, its about 1500 for a paint job on a regular sized car. I'm a senior in high school and we have a autobody program that teaches us how to paint cars. You can get your car painted for almost free if you donate it to the school for a little while. all you haev to pay for is the paint which is like 100 i think. I'd look around for that.
